It was a sobering descent to come down the fiery path this week with a flame burning lower than it usually did.

Everyone had 'meh' days, no need to stop the routine over it.

Of course if he was relentless in his path down this rabbit hole with no answers, how long could he go and how much resources could he dump in before he realized his losses and that he was just kicking a tumbleweed?

On the flip side if he did start to get answers he'd only accelerate down that hole faster, putting urgency to his descent.

Maybe not finding what he was looking for was the better outcome.

At this point he felt he was missing out he came across so many goths- if he could find one breeder of the species he'd have a new business partner.

His worst luck yet.

Not only was he unable to find anything worth the set up but he'd burned an incense going through the trouble.

-and this was one that he actually had to pay for.

An espurr came by, but it was so off base for what the Ranger was looking for, he didn't pay it any mind at all.
